I was married when I was 18. I was only with him a year and got divorced. I am now 26 and haven't seen him in over 4 years. I am currently engaged and soon to be married. I am aware that my ex husband is now back in the city I live in and people I know are running into him everywhere so I know its only a matter of time before I run into him. So when I do if I'm with my fiancee whats the appropirate thing to do? My fiance knows all about him and the fact it may happen. But I don't want to have to make this an uncomfortable situation. Would it be okay to say hello and introduce and then be like Sorry gotta go?

just be yourself and live in that moment - don't worry about it now or plan to what you're going to do because it's one of those "out of you control" situations...let it ride

Did you really love your ex husband? If you did it may be best to hide these feelings from your fiance. If you hate him and you and your fiance happen to meet up with your ex you can introduce your fiance to your ex as the *sshole I was married to.

Beautiful_dreamer is dead on. You can't worry about him cause he could very well be comfortable with the fact that yall are finished, not to implie your a bad person. Really theres not much you can do but control yourself and be happy with you and your current life.

its better to act normal and introduce them with one another, it would have another meaning if you would avoid him, be mature and face him, and introduce your fiance, its the right thing to do
