Would you rather hook up with guys you don't know at parties or bars, or go on a date with a guy who asks you out? Would you even want to meet a guy in a place where there is no music or alcohol?

I think this is the problem with dating today: when you meet someone in a club, there is loud music an drinking, so you can't talk and get to know one another. So, the only thing that will hook you up is sex, or how attractive you find the other person. I would soooo rather go out on a date with a guy who asks me out, because at least I get to hear his name (and remember it), we could have a good time where he doesn't grab my as* before even getting to know where I live. These days, I just assume that anyone I will meet at a party or in a bar is automatically not someone I'd like to get involved with, because he is praying on a drunk woman! Whom he doesn't even know!

Haha, GREAT question! I think if I was just looking for some random, meaningless, yet sensual fun, I think hooking up would be really fun and sexy and cute! But if a guy asked me out, I'd go out with him if I was into him because he could eventually end up being the one. And sure, why not meet a guy in a place where there is no music or alcohol. It shows that he isn't a player and has serious goals in life.

i would rather have a guy ask me out. i wouldn't mind meeting a guy at the library, grocery store, pta meetings, restaurant, hiking, or church
