I have the strangest way of naming my animals..... Its usually the first thing that pops in my head. Watch the way he plays...eats...walks....the toys he plays with...the funny faces he might make... ect ect.
For example....
I have a Shih Tzu.... When I first saw her her hair was hanging around her cute little face like the branches of a willow tree. So I named her "Willow"
And I just adopted a boxer/bulldog pup.... His "Puppy Breath" smelled just like strong coffee! So I named him "Coffee Bean" and we call him "Mr. Bean"!
It will come to you! Just pay attention and he will pick his own name! LOL

My black labs name is Mike..
Others I have seen: Jake, Duke, Shadow, Milo...
Or since you are on a "k" kick try Kingston, Kipper, Kendle... etc..
