Music, movies, documentaries, you name it. I am not saying that the liberal agenda is not one completely without merit. I don't happen to believe that. But their politics are deceptive, manipulative, pervasive, incessant, and reminiscent to me of the same tactics employed under the Third Reich. I wouldn't be surprised if babies and puppies don't soon grace theatre screens and airwaves with an anti-war, anti-GOP message. The party has long since lost my vote, and it has only to do with politics: Theirs.

I don't see it as a draw. You don't see religion dominating the airwaves, and you certainly don't see it from the GOP. Never have, in fact. It's a miracle that there is a two party system, given the percentage of airtime and media coverage that the left has historically enjoyed and benefited from compared to that of conservatives. One is at a grave disadvantage and which is obvious. Besides, religion is on the decline and Wicca is the fastest growing religion worldwide, especially in the West. Wiccans can hardly be counted conservative or Republican.

I am scared for this country, for the first time in my life. Really scared. Well intentioned Democrats have lost sight of what's important and what's going on. They're like a mob out of control. They are biting off this country's nose to spite its face. I believe so.

The ACLU? Please. The great foundation that has made this country what it is is being eroded until there will be nothing left but pedophiles in the streets, rampant crime, and freedom for all. That's what I see down the road. No more church, no more steeple, no more law abiding people.

Yellow, I am sorry but Republicans DO NOT do the same thing and not on the same scale. How many people do the Emmy's reach? How many people do the Oscars reach? Now, how many people does Rush reach, Fox news, or O'Reilly? They have a fan base and are singing to an already established choir. Not so with Oscars, or Emmy's, or Saturday Night Live, or Jay Leno, or the Today Show, or Good Morning America, or Dateline, or 60 Minutes, or 48 Hours, or, or, or. The list goes on and on. And many of the shows I just listed I do watch, at least on occassion. I've never seen a Republican receive a standing ovation just for walking onto the set of a morning talkshow. If anyone is stuffing the ballad box, it isn't coming from the right, figuratively speaking, of course.

Well, Plank, that may well be, but I am not alone. Put my vote together with a bunch more just like it and it packs one hell of a wallop.

If you are going to allude to the Third Riech, then look at how the Bush Administration orchestrated its war of choice in Iraq.
No, sadly you are not alone, but fortunately in an ever decreasing population. I am hoping the GOP is going over the cliff with Bush's war in Iraq. Its not too popular a subject these days.
Bush and his enablers ran the game for 6 years. I think their time is up and rightfully so, given the referendum of the American people on November 7th. I don't think you vote will be missed.

Sounds like you espouse a one party dictatorship. Both parties use every platform to promote their agenda. Republicans do the same thing. In fact, the Republican party has more money to do the same thing. Look and flimsy Air America vs. Fox News and Rush's radio network. By the way, Hitler went after labor unions, teachers, media moguls and pacifists. He was a corporatist as was Musillini, who often proclaimed it.

I am tired of Bush and the religious right. They are neither truly religious nor right. I will take the Democratic majority any day over the alternative. The right-wing Republicans have a strangehold on politics and it is wrong. I am a Canadian and can see right through this. Only fifteen percent of the population up here approves of Bush, (Maclean's article).

You should thank the people who are standing up for progressive politics in America. They will help to improve America's overseas reputation. These people will help to get young people, the working class and minorities to vote. They will support programs for women and immigrants. Al Gore is the one out there talking about the environment.

I am sick, too. But I must continue to fight their evil rhetoric, even though I want to throw up when I hear their lies. We Conservative, and Republicans cannot lay down, and refuse to continue to speak out against their false rhetoric, or America will die. We cannot let Liberals win, by killing America, her freedoms, and the Constitution. I know I am not the only angry Republican! So stand-up Reps, and Conservs! Say something! Stand with me!

Libs make music and movies, Cons have the churches. Seems like a draw to me.

Stop complaining. If you don't like what you see on TV or the movies then make your own movies. It's the American way.

What can you say? They're DEMONcrats. They're selfish, rude, and think of only themselves. Something goes wrong, it's automatically the President's fault. And where do they get this from? What you said-movies, media, etc.

and to that re-re up there who said something like libs have movies and "fun" basically, and the conservatives (like myself) have churches? church IS fun, and WE'RE going to be the ones partying for all eternity in Heaven someday!
