Please do not use straight peroxide out of a bottle on your hair. Get a bleaching kit. If you are just set on it though, we use a spray bottle for my friend on dry hair. He had jet black hair and we could see it changing slowly. The problem with using plain peroxide is that it takes a long time if you have dark hair which is damaging, and usually doesn't turn your blond but rather an orange color. Heat won't speed up the process that much with plain peroxide, but it will help some.

i use peroxide all the time and it has a very subtle effect depending on the percentage and the time. apply on dry hair all over and leave it for a few hours then rinse out. try not to blow dry your hair cos peroxide already dries out and damages your hair so moisturise your hair after.
hair only turns orange because it has been left in for to long or not long enough if you want blond hair

If you want natural highlights, mix the peroxide 50/50 with water, spray on wet hair and comb it through. It's better to let a professional
do it if you don't know what you're doing. What exactly were you wanting to do? This will gradually lighten your hair.

Peroxide is really bad for your hair. It strips all of the pigment out of it and it will never be the same again. If you're going lighter, buy something a bit more pricey. Your hair will thank you for it.

i would NOT use straight peroxide on your hair, you can't control what it will do(color wise) it is completely random.it could not lighten at all or lighten way too much. .please leave it to a pro or atleast buy a box from the store.
