Have a Male Labraor(yellow)mixed with Huskie for has really thick fur and has 1blue eye an 1 brown-the blue coming from the Huskie part of him. Took him in for was a stray that showed up in the neighborhood when it was very hot in the summer and I put water out and gave him food.He Kept coming then every day for approx 2weeks to get food(always have water in the front yard for any strays that may pass in the night esp.) The he'd come when I'come home but always would leave again until 1 morning as he was going up the driveway I started talking to him and telling him that he could stay that I'd take care of him, always treat him well and make sure never hungry again.after a while for he'd stopped walking and was listening to em,he turned came back down the driveway and laid down in front of the garage and he 's been with me now for 3 years. He'd been terribly abused for very afraid but hes now a healthy happy dog-always looks like hes smiling and he loves me like I love him.His name is Blondie for has very blond almost white fur on his chest-from the movie the good, the bad and the ugly and Clint Eastwoods nickname was Blondie.Happy Ending to a terrible b eginning-was so abused that his jaw and teeth etc were out of place from being hit so very hard. I know God has a special place for those who abuse animals and kids.I also spoil him for hes a good dog and deserves it.

I have two furkids which I rescued.

One is a Border Colllie/spaniel, male. I call him a Border Spaniel.

The other is a Golden Retreiver/ Chow Chow, female. I call her a Golden Chow.

It's cute when people ask me what breed they are (they look like pure breds) and they think it's an actual breed...

We also (old joke) refer to them as North American Swamp Dogs.

It is a joke a friend came up with...since she rescued a ferral dog..which she found in a swamp....which also looks like a purebred....
