I have always wanted a central courtyard but again like yourself having found a house plan i really like yet.

Pamie, as a builder I have searched the Internet for floor plans quite often. There will probably not be very many floor plans designed specifically in the style that you prefer, unfortunately. But what I do in cases like this, I try to find a floor plan that fits the criteria that I am after. In your case, you want an open courtyard. Then I can adapt the exterior characteristics to that floor plan and make it into a Mexican style home. Good luck.

You also might want to look at mediterrean houses as well, after-all thats where the haciendas got their imspiration from.
