I visited Chicago one time and remember on the way back from six flags there was a wendys on the overpass, literally built over the interstate. Can anyone help me narrow down where it's at and on what interstate? I looked on Google earth and couldn't find it and also a little bit just searching, but seem to find no mention of it. I'm sure 100,000 people drive under it everyday so someone has to know.

Rewyn is correct. It was the Lake Forest Oasis, but now its been rebuilt.
All of them now have Macdonald's, no more Wendy's, which is a crying shame. It was a bit of a treat to stop there and pick up a chicken sandwich and some chilli.
On the upside they now have a lot more choice, and now have free wifi. The old stuctures were quite historical, they were designed by Mies Van Der Rohe.

Everybody else already answered for you. It was the Lake Forest Oasis on I-94/294. We have a ton of oasis above our roads around Chicago. They renovated all of them not too long ago. Now they have more choices and better quality (to some) items. You should visit them again.

It (literally built over the interstate)is called an oasis-I believe it is on Interstate 94

Well, for years it was on 94 (Lake Forest Oasis). Not sure if it is still there, they rebuilt all the Oasis stops and put new restaurants in. It might be though. I use to pass daily to go to work, I don't work that direction anymore, so I don't pass it daily anymore.

It WAS on 94. Two years ago they remodeled and renovated all the overpass restaurants. I haven't been north on I94 in a while, but it used to be there. It may not be there now. They "upscaled" all the shops and restaurants, sorry, dude.
