Thats a good question, I ask myself that all the time. I'm too mature for people my age... I dont like to smoke pot or do drugs or talk behind "my friends" backs. I would say the answer is there is no age and if your lucky you just might find an awesome friend that is worth your time.

I agree that people will come and go... Sometimes I seemed to 'lose' more friends than at other times because I was undergoing alot of personal changes for the better, and people who wanted to use or exploit me weren't interested in hanging around anymore... But you never know how long a friendship will last or what may put it to the test....Part of life, I guess

You continue "losing" and gaining friends throughout your lifetime. It is really up to you as to the nature of the relationships. Usually, you gain more meaningful relationships as you mature. You don't really "lose" friends. You tend to just grow apart...it happens about the time you graduate high school. Probably because everyone has such different paths to follow, i.e., marriage, children, college, travel, or a combination of reasons. The friends you keep throughout the harder times in your life will help to galvanize the relationship.

Friends came and went in my life until my late 20s. Then my close friends remained so. I have lost more friends than I care to remember right now to death since then. So I suppose you never stop losing friends one way or another.

Some people never learn how to treat people in order to keep them as friends. Some people won't be your friend, no matter what you do.

Maturity will help but still expect to lose friend throughout you life. Good luck. Pops

It's hard to lose friends when you're younger... but as you mature, the friendships will multiply and the QUALITY of the friendships will be better.

As long as you're not doing anything to alienate people, just give it some time. Take care of yourself. :)

People will come and go in your life. You just have to go with the flow. Have you ever read that poem a reason, a season or a life time. It explains things perfectly
