Awesome. I would love a female GYN. Go for it. I think it's the highest money earning area for female doctors too.

Nothing wrong with that. If you want to be a gynecologist, more power to you. If this is something you really want to do, then it shouldn't matter if anyone supports you or not. Do what you want - it's your life - and your happiness you are talking about. Besides, what you are choosing for a career is a very noble profession. You go girl!
