a year ago i was bitter about catching my x cheating and a mutual freind of his held me till i slept one night and was so sweet.i saw him a couple months later and he said i was killing him,my ex was upset that we liked eachother so he backed off and kept his distance.here i am a year later and i still like him so i called him and told him he was eating me alive,he said it was mutual and he had no idea i felt that way he said i was beautiful.but he started dating soemone a month ago and told me he is being honest and fair but then again said how beautiful i am,so i was confused as to what he wants,so i told him to tell me to give up and let it go and he said no,i told him he had to(in respect for the girlfriend and so i could know whether he wants me or not)and he said he cant and again told me how beautiful i am.It has been a week and no sign from him,i am not going to contact him again.But I dont know what to read out of that conversation with him,what was he telling me?

Keep him in mind but dont get into anything serious until you are sure. If he wants to be with you, he will.

He wants to keep you there..just in case...He may be confused which of you to pick. You are beautiful. Be clear with him about what you want and what you will and will not do. he must make his choice. A good relationship is not confusing. You are beautiful ..go find a guy who is not seeing someone else and can give you 100% of the attention you deserve!

You are doing the right thing is not talking to him. Keep strong - it will be difficult, but do not call him and do not return his calls (if he calls).
Guys are constantly seeking to have their egos stroked. They want to be wanted by every woman they meet.
You need to move on - I do know there is someone out there that will be honest with you and treat you with the respect and dignity that you deserve.

He was telling you he wants you to still be hung up on him while he dates someone else. He's probably good intentioned by not trying to hurt his friend, but in the process he's stringing you along. You don't need him to tell you to give up, just move on. If it was something that was ever going to happen it probably would have by now.

the reason he isnt telling you to give up is because he wants to keep you hanging on just incase him and his girlfriend break up....he's got you then on the side to just go running back to. and thats not right. your doing the right thing by not calling him and if he calls you dont return his calls. You dont want to be the rebound girl....believe me.

He's telling you in so many words that he has feelings for you, but he can't give up the girl he's with, but he was thinking about it when he was telling you "you were beautiful".

i would ask him what he wants to do. tell him he can only have one of you and if he likes you then he has to break up with her and if not then tell him you are stepping back and letting go of him. that way he will know he has to choose and cant just keep you wondering. thats what his plan...to keep you wondering...but if you tell him that then he will know his plan has failed and he has to choose between the 2 of you.
