In college, I got back with a high school sweetheart but it didn't last more than a couple of months.

jr. high relationships especially hardly Ever work.. because you liked eachother during that awkward age and then you go to high school and you have grown into two different levels. and i have heard of some high school sweethearts being together into college.. but they always ended up breaking up. being together that long.. one of them usually wants a change because they've grown apart.. and want to experience something new. they figure they are older and in a new stage in their life that they want a new girlfriend or boyfriend from that next stage. usually you really Don't marry any one you will ever be with in junior high and high school.

It depends how committed you are I suppose but most of the relationships in junior high or high school don't last.

Hi, I married my High school sweetheart. He's in the Army now and he's in Iraq, but I still talk to him every other night.
