temporarily change it to black? there is really no difference between male and female hair, so go to the drug store or walmarts and look for hair color that says it stays in for 6-8 washings. you will find that information on the front and back of the box. there are 3 different levels of color, permanent, semi permanent, and temporary..or there is a rinse, called fanciful, i think, you can get at a beauty supply store, like sally's. the rinse should wash out fairly quickly, probably within 2 or 3 washings. if you cant get it all the way out, use white vinegar and water to rinse your hair after you shampoo..
good luck

I had the same type color hair and have dyed it many times over the years and many times I have fried my hair. In Oct of 2005 I once again dyed my hair black and here it is Feb 2007 and the bottom of my hair is still dark and the roots and the rest that has grown since then is finally the right color....so I call myself 2 toned. Its an extreme change so if you decide to do it I hope you want that color as a Long Time Temp.

Find a salon that uses Paul Mitchell color and ask them if they have PM Shines. It is a temporary color that will not damage your hair, it has no peroxide or ammonia. It was made to blend grey hair. Awsome and it shouldn't be too expensive. It washes out if you don't like it.
