Okay, this is so stupid. I have a loving boyfriend of 2 years and I trust him very, very much. I'm 100% positive he would never ever cheat on me, and I'm 100% sure that he loves me to death. I'm not insecure and we're really close and we tell each other everything.
But for some reason whenever he wants to hang out with his friends, girls being some of them, I get a little jealous. What can I do to make those feelings stop? I trust him more than anything and I couldn't ask for a better guy.
I'm not sure if this is why, but last summer, he broke up with me for a couple of months and in those few months he made out with a few girls. Ever since then I've just been really sensitive about him hanging out with girls, even if I know they're just his friends and other guys will be there, too.
Help!!

i hate the feeling of jealousy....when it hits me it makes me feel awful. I have learned to try to ask myself more questions when I am feeling jealous about something such as "if there were only guys there would i still be bothered?" and such. Jealousy can only do harm to yourself so I really suggest soul searching and trying to get it away from your life.

You're wrong about a few things: you DON'T trust him "very, very much" or "more than anything", and you ARE "insecure".

But you're also right about a few things: he probably DOES "[love you] to death", and this IS "so stupid".

The bottom line is that you have trust issues and confidence issues; that's YOUR problem, not his. Have you tried meeting these girls or friends of his and interacting with them in a non-confrontational setting? Are they really capable of posing such a threat to your relationship? Do any of them have boyfriends?

Think of it this way: do you have any guy friends? And what would you think if he was jealous of you hanging out with them if they're "just friends" and other girls will be there too?

I'm shocked this relationship has lasted for two years. If he really wanted to be with someone else or cheat on you, then nothing is stopping him.

Nothing can ruin a relationship or marriage faster than jealously. Jealousy creates anxiety, anger, loneliness, hate, fear. No one thinks clearly when jealous. Jealousy will often change to the non valiant abuse.
Having a relationship with a jealous person is tough. The jealous person acts untrusting or unworthy. Jealousy makes the person unattractive, even repulsive.
No one wants a jealous mate and no one likes being jealous. So what causes jealousy?
Jealousy comes about because of the insecurity of the jealous person and the jealousy may or may not have foundation. This person is afraid of hidden communication lines and will do anything to try to uncover them.
So work to eliminate this feeling and protect your relation fom jealousy.

If you trust him 100% then you wouldn't have these doubts. If he made out with another, of course you are going to be suspicious. Even if you trust him 99%. That's normal. Just be the best girlfriend you can, and give him his own space from time to time, and he will be so glad to know you love him AND trust him, and he will stay loyal. Trust is earned, so if he should do anything in the future to jeopardize that, then you will know for sure he is not trustworthy. But for now treat him as if he is.

Its natural. Just contain yourself. Me personally I don't let my chick hang with dudes unless there girlfriends are around or something. If he's getting drunk there is always a possibility of him cheating.

Is the girls that he kissed his friends? If not then I wouldn't worry about it. If they are then if I were you, I would tag along when he visits with them. Why don't you go with him anyway?
