Friend has Jeep Liberty with diesel engine.
OOO me like sound and power of diesel.
Him have gas engine Liberty before.
They both turn real sharp for going through woods and across fields. We use to go get firewood. Drag BIG trees out of piles to cut up. Diesel Liberty climb steep hill with engine idling!!! WOW! Pull skid loader out of muddy field. My kind of machine!!!
UGH!!!!!

They all have their good points. Wranglers can be a convertible and are the best off road. Commander can seat 7 people, Compass and Patriot are easy on gas but a still good daily driver's, Liberty is built on the same platform as 4 door wrangler so it is also good off road, and grand cherokee can come with the SRT package. But If I had to pick one it would be the Wrangler. they are the symbol of automotive freedom. nothing can stop them.

I really like the four door Wranglers with a hard top. Then I realized the only reason I like them is because they look like the discontinued Cherokee XJ. Patriots are nice but only because they also resemble the Cherokee XJ. I have to agree that the older Jeeps are the best. Thats why chose to buy a '98 Cherokee when I could have had on of the newer ones that you mentioned.

I like the wrangler because I have very old fashioned tastes when it comes to cars.
The wrangler's early 1930's looks are incredibly beautiful compared to other cars today. Jeep Wranglers have metal bodies which are stronger and safer than the crappy fiberglass or plastic bodies most modern cars have. Jeep Wranglers are rugged and also have a high resale value so they aren't a total ripoff like everything else.
I think that the Jeep Wrangler is not only the best Jeep but the best car in production today!

Personally if I was to purchase another Jeep, I'd get a wrangler. Although I wouldn't buy a brand new one due to the engine change. Jeep started putting V6 engines in the jeeps in the last couple years and I don't like them, and they don't get very good gas mileage. I like the 4.0L. inline 6 engines, so you won't see me in a new jeep wranger, but in an older one definitly.

Its a TJ wrangler, made between 1997 and 2002 judging on the mirrors. All inventory too. it is not a Renegade II, that should make it a CJ5 produced interior the early '70s with a V8. seems completely distinctive than a wrangler and is lots shorter.
