errr... 10 pounds I guess, but you will gain it back even faster and might be more than 10 pounds when you start eating again.... Conclusion, it's not a good way to loose weight permanently...

Good Luck!!!

Don't do this! It will do more harm than good. First, depriving your body of proper nutrients is never a good thing. Second, starving yourself has two negative effects on your body: 1 - It will slow your metabolism, and when you start to eat again you will gain more weight, and 2 - while your starving yourself your body will begin to break down muscle for energy and hold the fat in reserve. The body does this because it takes more calories to maintain muscle than fat. It's a built-in survival mechanism.

Don't go by weight to measure your progress. What is weight? Water, muscle, and fat. You want to lose fat, not muscle or water. (Also, muscle is heaver - more dense than fat). That's what makes these quick weight-loss schemes so harmful. Some are muscle-wasting diets and others dehydrate you.

For best results, eat healthy and build lean muscle by moderate strength training. Aerobics can be included but unlike aerobics, strength training will have your body burning calories for many hours after your workout!

Good luck!

If you starve yourself for a week you won't lose any weight because your body will go on starvation mode and hold on to the fat that is already there. Its a survival method. If you want to lose weight start by eating three (healthy) meals a day. The more you eat the more you will lose, but its all about WHAT you eat and, of course, moderation.

Not eating for a week is just a stupid idea.

Depends on your diet. Personally, I don't even recommend dieting- or even starving for that matter. There's many more healthier and stress-free ways to lose weight, such as exercise.

If you're only dieting for a week then there's the possibility of regaining that weight afterwards. Also, I've heard that when you don't eat for a long period of time, you tend to appear fatter for some reason.

Overall, just don't starve yourself. Don't eat any junk food, go outside for a relaxing walk, never diet (they don't work and are terrible for your health), and never skip meals! By the way, for me, DDR is the perfect exercise :D

Please DO NOT DO THAT!!! You will lose muscle mass. The muscle, which is heavier than fat, will turn into fat so your body can store it because it will think it is not going to get any food. You will lose weight, but it will also make you weaker. Your best bet to lose weight is to drink eight glasses of water each day and eat fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein to get your metabolism on track. You can lose about 5 to 10 pounds in water weight if you try this for a week. The rapid weight loss will not continue for much longer than that, but for a quick fix, it's worth a try!

That's retarded and idiotic. You'll actually GAIN weight. Why? Because after you starve yourself for 1 week, you'll start eating like crazy. Result? Gained weight.

you will maybe lose a lot of weight.. but after, you'll gain back more pounds. because if you starve yourself, you crave junk food.

One week without anyfood, there's no way you can last that long. but if you try with only water and stay 23hours a day at home without moving, there's a chance you'll lose about 6% of your actual weight.
