I am unsure what a study team is in reference to child development. If your child has been followed by a doctor it is fair to assume that he has had a hearing test.
Steps to follow up on this issue:
1. Remove bottle and pacifer
2. See a Ear Nose and Throat Doctor
3. Refer to your local Early Childhood Intervention Program, they work with children birth to three years of age with developmental delays. One of the disciplines within the agency is speech language pathologist.
4. Purchase CD's with simple sign language, this is not just for the hearing impaired.

I would suggest a second opinion, possibly from a speech therapist or another pediatrician. I am living proof that doctors are not always right. Their study team may not know the answer, but someone out there does. It could be a hearing problem, speech impetement, autism, or simply that he doesn't have anything to say, yet. Good luck.

He is still very young give hime time. Some kids don't talk that much until after 2. Mine talked at 15 months but they are all different. Have his hearing checked just to make sure all is well.

It would not sound such as you haven't any longer have been given too a lot to rigidity approximately. to a pair young little ones there are issues that basically are not significant sufficient for them to rigidity approximately and that they see no reason to hassle. in case you spend a great variety of time clapping then she would be ready to quickly %. it up....be sure you sing patty-cake to her and clap while she does something relaxing she would be ready to quickly catch on. in any different case she sounds maximum appropriate on the right music. sturdy luck and a great variety of reward.

My second child took her time forming words. She was 22 months before she could say anything understandable by those outside the family.
Give him some time. As long as they've ruled out possible hearing issues, perhaps he's just not got anything to say yet? ;)
Don't worry... it'll be fine.

well, why is my 23 month old not talking? actually, boys develop vocabulary skills slower than girls, that is what the pediatrician told me. He's talking alittle more now, but it's hard to understand him. He says bye bye an love you and he will try to repeat things like ball and dog. Give him time, he will talk, then the problem will be getting him to shut up!

He'll talk when he's ready. Some kids take longer than others. Just remember, just because he can't say it doesn't mean he doesn't know it. Besides, 15 months is awfully young to worry about something like that.

If you can tell he understands things, don't worry.
My daughter did not speak much at all until she was almost two and when she finally started, it was all big words and long setences!
Maybe your little guy is a perfectionist and waiting to make sure he gets it right.
