Somebody was just talking to me, and they said something about the air being so fresh you could taste it. Is that even possible? Is air taste-able?

Oxygen and nitrogen, the two primary components in air, are classified as Colourless, Odourless and Tasteless gases. Sometimes air can have a taste (usually not a good one) when contaminated with trace amounts of acid forming elements like sulphur, chlorine and carbon monoxide.
