Ask your current boyfriend. If he is okay with it, then you can go. If he isn't, then it WILL jeopardize your relationship. Good Luck!

I say, you sound very secure in your new relationship and that's great so with that said I think you should tell your new guy, cause that's the right thing to do, and go have fun anyone in your position would want to go' so go and have some closure. I also think you sound like your very much in love and your new guy should realize how lucky he is, it would have been easy to do it behind his back but you are honest and up front, good for you' have enjoy your self... and don't forget to brag about that new man you have to your ex... good luck' and one more thing I would make sure you look super hot and be super happy' hey it never hurts to let them know what they lost right(wink)

I don't think it' s wrong to go as long as you tell you current boyfriend the complete truth, then tell your X that you will meet him at a certain time, for a certain time and don't make it an all night thing. Respect taht your current man might be a little irritated if you don't come home at a set hour.

definately keep it as casual as possible. maybe inform a gf incase things get weird and you suddenly get an "emergency" call. He'll get that you're uncomfortable and appreciate you saying it the nice way.
after all its just for a refresher. either that, or suggest coffee rather than dinner. WAY more casual and definately not as hard to get out of... from there, you can judge whether a dinner date is appropo.

Only if your present man knows. If not NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO. Curiosity killed the cat. Plus he might try to kiss you or something and most ex's already have done that so they think its know big deal and I'm sure he will try to slap your rear-end or something its just irresistible

I can tell you that your testing your faith in your relationship with your new man. I can also tell you that if you have no children with your ex and it was as messy as it was to break up you have no reason other than to test yourself. Some times the trap is so unseen but in this case you should not need it in bold letters to see what your doing. Ask yourself this what could *** of your meeting the old man? Ask also do you really love your new man. What else do you need to know.

not unless your taking your new found love with you. whats the deal, youre sitting there trying to justify why you should go. i see a lot of excuses. you broke up. havent spoken. now he wants dinner. your curiosity just might be, does he still have feelings for me...we all have done this once or twice in our lives. if i ever see him again ill show him what he missed out on...if your serious about your new love, either include him so he has no ill feelings about your going, or just dont go.

I don't think so. As long as it wouldn't be jeopardizing your current relationship. Go to dinner and get some answers!
