I went to a really liberal college in Northern California when I was first dating my husband. When he was in Iraq it seemed non of the guys there would take "my boyfriend is deployed" as the truth, so I ended up putting Marine Support stickers with different sayings on my car. One day I walked out to leave from school and this high school girl comes up to me and starts running her mouth about my husband being a "baby killer" and that he "should die just like all the innocent civilians who are killed in Iraq... slowly and painfully" and a whole bunch of other crap. My respoince... that the right of free speech she was using, the right that made it illegal for me to just kick her ***... my husband was defending it, so she just needed to walk away before I forgot that. Stupid liberal wackos.

People can call me what ever they want Just because someone says something doesn't mean its true try this, someone calls me a baby killer it is ment to try and make me out to be a monster but who the monster really? If its true that I am a baby killer for serving in the military what does that make the the person who safely sits in their warm comfy house who's taxes fund the military that pays me to kill those babies. I didn't really kill babies but people do get hurt and die as a result of military action. I believe that people feel guilty and badly about themselves because they are to scared to serve so the lash out. then there are some that are just didn't understand. I'm always looking out for someone that's gonna spit on me if that happens I didn't know if I could hold back.

All the time. I ignore it because I know I killed no babies and I know we aren't the ones giving children guns, grenades, kives and telling them to approach soldiers. Seriously we had to tell children to show hands if they were walking toward us. I can only imagine what the Marines coming home from Vietnam had to deal with..

My brother in law come home from Vietnam after his tour, bothered by the fact he had to kill anyone in Nam, but proud that he served his Country. He stepped off the plane to be assaulted with rotten eggs, spit on, called every name in the book, including Baby Killer....
The man got home, took off his medals, locked them away with his uniform never to out it on ever again. He has lost himself in the bottle and never came out. He wishes he had died in Nam with his comrades, because then he would not have had to die among people where no one understood - in his own homeland! This is a tragedy.

I was in the military for 23 years and had to put up with lots of criticisms, but frankly, you learn to ignore those people because they sometimes don't even realize what they are saying.
