i had a bet with my cousin Kristin and i lost the bet. the deal was that if i lost the bet she would get to dye my hair pink and i would have to keep it pink for 2 weeks. should i be a man of my word and do it or back out. i tried to make a comprimise but she wants me to get pink hair and wont comprimise. what should i do?

You should do everything in your power to prevent her from dying your hair. When people dye their hair it literally damages it. Your hair might become thin, frizzy, and after a while your hair will looked like you put it under an iron. If your cousin is looking forward to dying your hair you should really sit her down and tell her how you feel about her doing this. if she doesn't agree buy a pink wig and tell her you swear to wear it for two weeks and will not take it off until your time is up. Well, I'd recommend forking over some cash and seeing if that'll work.
But, if you want to go ahead and be an honest person, TEMPORARILY dye your hair so that it washes out, but I suppose you implied that by saying "three weeks".
There are many options, but you might look like a total unprofessional jerk if you did that and then went out in public. Just say, "I lost a bet". They'll believe you.

Go for it! A bet is a bet, and you need to honor your word. If I were you though, I would get my hair cut VERY short!
Don't worry, hair grows and color washes out. Have fun with it and no one will make to much of it...however, you may want to NOT make bets you don't feel comfortable loosing in the future! lol

Hmm, get it hot pink and I think it will look fine. Seriously. If your a girl. I couldn't really tell if you were a girl or boy by your paragraph. If your a guy.. Id be a little more cautious but in my opinion two weeks is nothing. Go for it. Just make sure its HOT PINK =]

If I was you, I would make a bet with her. The only way that I would keep it in two weeks is if she dye hers too. If not it would only stay in a week. And besides she can't make you do anything that she wouldn't do.

Sorry hun, you made it, you keep it. To make it easier on you, walmart carries a mousse that is a colorant. It last about 2wks and washes out. This way she gets to color your hair pink, but it won't last which is a good thing. GOOD LUCK...PS. Real men wear pink!!!

I'd do it but go to Sally Beauty Supply and get something you can comb in rather than doing the dye job--that way you can wash it out and go about your business when she's not around.
