My husky Rocky likes to drink and play with water, but I have to admit when it comes to bathtime....forget it! It turns into a boxing match. All you get is a lot of pawing and crying. I don't really think it's the water that he has an issue with but with the restraining. Rocky is a lil weirdo!

In general Huskies don't like anything more than a slight puddle.
They are not water dogs like retrievers and labs are.

My husky HATES any water that isn't in her drinking bowl.

YES!!!! I have had Kita for 14 years. She has her own kiddie pool to play in during the summer months. It is a hoot to fill the pool then watch her scratch at the water vigorously then get in and lay down.

I would think so. All dogs need water to live.--as for playing in water, I don't have one, but I hope to one day. All dogs are different for their preference of being in water.
