Sounds like you drool in your sleep. The spit sometimes dries overnight, leaving that nasty residue on your face. Drooling can be caused by a number of factors:
1.) An overactive salver gland
2.) Sinuses
3.) Tongue-thrusting

I don't know if there is a solution to cure the first two, but tongue-thrusting is the main problem i had when i used to drool a lot. Tongue-thrusting is is when the tongue doesn't position in the mouth correctly at a period of rest. When you swallow, your tongue goes forward instead of up and back. You're drooling because your tongue is not holding back that spit, nor swallowing it correctly. Talk to your dentist or orthodontist, because tongue-thrusting affects the alignment of your teeth, pushing them forward. Tongue-thrusting is a relatively new discovery, something dentists didn't figure out until a few years ago. I'd recommend a tongue-thrusting specialist, but you probably don't live anywhere near this person.

It's probably down to your diet, constipation is often down to not getting enough fibre. If this has been going on for more than a few weeks then you should go to the doctor, they are qualified to assess and diagnose these sorts of issues and give you some sort of eating plan if necessary. I dont know what on earth 'juice from-the-market' is but you should perhaps buy your juice from a supermarket in case the stuff you are buying is bad. And I think most people wake up with a bad taste in their mouth after drinking beer, probably something to do with the yeast in it! But go see your doctor if you are not happy with how you feel, asking the internet is going to be hit and miss at best.

I also get that stuff around my mouth when I wake up. To answer your question it's just drool that has dried up around your mouth. This probably happens because you might be sleeping with your mouth open. To prevent it drink some water before you go to sleep and drinking water will also keep it from getting all over your tongue too.

First, have you been to the dentist? Second, do you slobber in your sleep? Third, maybe you have an infection or something. Hopefully you don't have a roommate that may do sick things to you in your sleep!!! I'm not trying to be gross or nothing but its a weird question that can come with weird answers. Good luck in finding that out. Otherwise keep a towel under your head ( 4 your mouth)

It might just be drool that dries up at the edge of your mouth as you sleep. I used to scratch the edge of my mouth cause I didn't wash it off when I was 8, then my friend started asking other people whether they thought I was gonna get infected or something. Then one of the smarter kids told her that al that was going to happen was that I might scratch off a bit of the skin there. Sheesh.

It's the mixture of dead skin cells with drool. If you sleep with your mouth open excess drool has to get out one way our another and I suggest Listerine at night. if not try sleeping with only your nose but eventually throughout the night you'll open your mouth. No way of avoiding it, if your confident there's a way to get rid of it go to your local dentist.

I get it too but I understand that it is a form of thrush from my asthma medicines. Only a good mouthwash keeps it at bay and it still comes back if I am not drinking enough water.

TYRONE,

IF YOU SLEEP WITH YOUR MOUTH OPEN, THIS IS MOST LIKELY A COLLECTION OF DRIED CELLS AND SALIVA.
TO PREVENT IT LEARN TO SLEEP WITH A CLOSED MOUTH.
