I just bought a Lhasa Apso and he's a male, but has a real tiny cute face so I just don't know what to name him.

Many male names sound so tough and he's a tiny cute bundle of furr so I don't think they go. I also don't want a name that's too cutsy either,
like fluff or snowball.

Names I come up with, like Sashi, which I don't think is too cutesy, but my husband says it.

Any ideas?

Anyone know how to say sweet in tibetan?

Thanks!

I had a Lhasa Apso, a female. She lived to be 17! I miss her so much! Her name was Tiffany and i dressed her in jewel collars (like she may have got them from Tiffany's) lol.

I like the name Sawyer. Its a cute name, not tough but not cutsie.
Good luck with your dog! I'm jealous!

Use the letters in "Lhasa Apso" to form names, see what you come up with...Soap, Sal, Hal, Pal, Al, Las, Lash(s)....Ok, so not very good, but see if you come up with different ones. Or try combinations of the letters in "sweet lhasa apso" or the letters of your name + husb's name.....just a thought!

If he's a Lhasa, try Stinky! Many Lhasas do smell worse than other dogs. Give him lots of baths and lots of outdoor walks and playtime. He'll love it.

Seriously, several names you might like to consider are
Pal
Buddy
Chubs
Fuzzball
Sir Mopp
Sir Barksalot
Puppy Muttkin
Munchkin
Hero
Furry
Dogus Barkus (for intellectual dog owners)
Barkley
