That returning wrong to someone who has done wrong to you won't make that situation right either, but it makes for a good excuse to do so anyway. I disagree with that being a good excuse though. It is indeed a poor excuse for lowering yourself to the level of the one who did you wrong to start with. If it is wrong, it is wrong! Why no try to find a thoughtful way to solve a problem. Returning the wrong is merely a weak mind expressing itself by repeating another wrong. Where is the thought in that kind of action?

it means that when two people do something wrong to each other and no one does the right thing that the only way the people can explain their actions are excuses :)

not sure with my answer though..

the second line only says that the 2 wrongs can be used as a good excuse in not accomplishing a task given to you..

example:

Aimee spits in Ty's face, Ty bust up her lip. Leslie asks why she busted her lip, and she said cuz she spat on her.

now both girls were wrong, and even though Ty shouldn't of retaliated, (that makes 2 wrongs) and her spitting on her (was a great excuse to punch her.)

It means that the fact that you make the same mistake other people have made, doesn't make you right, it only makes you justify yourself.

if someone wrongs you, it still wasn't right for you to wrong them back- but you had an awfully good reason for doing it, lol.

I personally think someone made that up so their wrong did not look so bad.
