I have a similar problem. Lotion after shower as soon as possible with a lotion containing urea.

There are three possibilities: you have athlete's foot infection; you are allergic to the soap you are using; or the skin on your feet is too dry (also because of the soap). The dry skin and allergy problems are both forms of dermatitis and they have the same cure - quit using soap, and switch to a mild cleanser like Dove or Nutrogenia. You can also apply a moisturizing lotion after the shower. Try this first. If your feet still itch, try using a spray foot powder that kills athletes foot fungus.

Quit staying in there so long. You should be able to get clean in like 10 minutes or less.
