Are you talking about thoughts and things in the mind or events? I am a Christian and believe the powers of darkness, wickedness and such can be defeated. Read the story of Gideon in Judges ch 5-7 (I think) The Midianites and in other places the Canaanites represent the enemy. The stratagy was for him to A) overcome his fear and calling, B) accept the mission and create an action plan. (He attacked at Midnight, the time when the enemy submits to authority). and removed those around him that were fearful, and so forth. I think you get the picture. Develope your own plan with the help of God. Believe you are "more than a conqueror and you can do all things through Christ". Your identity in Christ is the key! You are the one who is destined to take authority. Psalm 149

Luke 7:5 We need more Faith Luke 17:5 To continue in the Faith Acts 14:22 Faith comes from listening Spirit gives Special Faith, 1 Cor 12:9, Will need Faith as your shielded 6:16, you are being tempted to see how strong your Faith really is, Christians who are week in Faith, Rom 14:1, There is only one Lord one Faith, Eph 4:5 clear your conscience, and you will see your true faith,1 Tim 1:5, you are wandering from your Faith, 1 Tim 6:10 when your Faith is being tested, Jas 2:18, Everybody goes through this, And when this happens I have come to find out that we the ones that this happens to are the ones that are VERY Important to the Lord, and believe it or not it dose make you stronger in the long run trust your Faith, and dont allow it to be weekend, let this make it stronger, Pray tell the Lord that you are aware of what is happening, And tell Him you will not never leave Him, you see it is US that leaves the Lords presence the Lord never leaves Us, Stand strong, and dont feel bad, Fill great and tell your self I am being tested and I am going to defeat what I am up against because with the Lord own your side you cant lose, BUT! in order to win You have to keep the Lord in your Mind, all the time, And in your heart, all the time and in your soul all the time or when these temptations you come up against you WILL LOSE, God bless you and stand strong, Jesus loves you and dont forget that, Do you love Jesus enough to stand strong?....Always keep your Faith, And Pray! pray and keep own praying because when the Lord is own your mind nothing else can come in....to test your faith, and dont fill bad because we all go through a test of Faith.

Pray, read your scriptures, go to church, find friends that will be there for you and hold the same value system you do. I think that having others around you to help you is very helpful. Also, talking to leaders of your church may help also. Sometimes someone that understands things better then you do can shed some light on things you are having problems with. Prayer is also very helpful. It can strengthen you and help you feel more in control and able to handle whatever challenges come your way.

Have you noticed that the Bible says to flea temptation, but to resist the devil? That means that if you are a child of God, you can resist the devil perfectly. Temptation is another matter! You flee that!
So it's like material warfare: you have to know when to resist and when to flee. Resisting is just refusing to give up control. Taking back. Claiming your authority in Jesus Christ. No special tactics involved, although it is good to know what the devil's tactics are: like dividing believers, making you doubt God, making you afraid, etc. (By the way there is a difference between doubting God and questioning God. David questions Him in the Psalms. That's how we learn. You can ask Him "why?" while still trusting Him).

But you may say what exactly does that meanWhat is the Suit of Armour from God? Well that would be accurate Bible knowledge, for in the Bible God has informed us of all the spiritual things we need to know, the attributes we need to display the righteousness that we need to have, the devil's wicked ways, and how, to avoid getting under his power,and also how to attain the protection from God. Then of course we need to put that accurate knowledge to use and help others to get to know about it also so they too can have this faith and by building the faith of others, as will be building up others we are building up us at the same time!This is the strategies that work and this is why they are in the Bible from God. it is also why Satan fights dirty by getting people away from Bible truth and leading them away with many lies, so that while they think they are following the Bible truth whe, they are actually following and believing his lies, yes he is cunning, the Bible does say that he is transforming himself into an angel of light(2Corinthians11:14,15)It is therefore imperrative to stick to the Bible truths because God has there revealed for us all the neccessary things for us to succeed fully!
