High heels or am i too tall.? my bf has a problem with it?
i am 5 11" and my bf is 6 3" and when we got together he said he loved my height and i loved gettin glammed up to go out with my heels on and i felt confident. . ive just been signed up to do some modelling work. and since ive started my bf now makes alot of comments about my height and if i wear heels he complains i look to tall and makes me take them off. he says tall girls should wear flats and when he sees me modelling says i look terrible with heels cos i look too tall for a girl . i just dont understand his problem, before i started modelling he werent bothered if i wore heels. when i asked him why he dosent like me wearing them he tells me to shut up. so now i dont wear them anymore but i was just wondering do other tall girls wear heels.

A real boyfriend wouldn't have a problem with you at all. And he shouldn't lower your self-esteem down because you are too tall. Wear what you want, it's a free country, he's not a beauty person so how would he know? I think tall girls should wear heels. And I'm really short, not tall actually.

Your boyfriend has some serious issues, it's not just his behavior about your height, he has issues about you being self supporting and being an indepent woman. I can't believe you actually quit wearing heels because of this guy! He clearly is tall and you wearing heels should have no bearing on your relationship, but it has, because there is something more going on then shoes and height. My daughter is 5'10" and has always found it difficult to find a guy taller, she has dated many men shorter than her and only one made an issue of it. Turns out, it wasn't just her height and I suspect the same from your guy. Get away from him, enjoy your modeling career(that's great!) and stop allowing this man to "beat you down" and not encouraging you and your career. I think he is jealous of you, and that is not a trait you want from a man, jealousy spells trouble and possible serious danger further down the line.

Sounds to me like he is uncomfortable with you modeling. He might be afraid other guys will notice you.
5 foot eleven is pretty tall for a girl and heels would put you at about 6 foot? But if he didnt mind before you modeled then it has to be about the modeling and not the heels. If he wont talk about it then I guess you can either do what he says or stand up for yourself. its your choice.

If you want to wear heels, wear heels... i know a lot of tall girls who do... and really, you shouldn't be taking his crap. He sounds like he's insecure because you model and he knows that other guys are probably looking at you, so he's getting jealous as well... and you should never let someone tell you to shut up, especially over SHOES.. and I've been in a similar situation, one of my ex bf's (may he rot in hell) told me I couldn't wear low cut shirts, and i stayed with him and did what he said... and then he became abusive, and I really wish I wasn't so naive.

He sounds a little jealous about your modeling. You wear what you want to wear. If he gets away with controlling what you wear now, he is going to try to control other things that you are doing also. Time for his control issues to be squashed or he needs to be kicked to the curb.

Ok first of all, you probably need to think about what's right for you. Adjusting yourself to make yourself look good for ANY guy that you're dating is REALLY not worth the sacrifice.He's trying to mold you into somebody that you're not. You were born the way you were, and if he can't accept you for who you are, then chances are, you really don't need to be with him. I wouldn't dare try to better myself for any guy especially because of the fact that there is a world full of guys that I haven't even met yet.Just know that if you're with a guy that isn't comfortable with your appearance, there is somebody out there in this huge (GROWING) world that is.

i personally dont believe that this is about your height and shoes. he feels intimidated by ur success and u being a model. he is insecure, bcuz u r a model, tall and working and may be u might dump him, so he is trying to destroy ur self esteem and make u doubt ur self. he s breaking u down and it seems to be working.

I think you should dump him. He cares too much what other people think of you two together and that's not the important thing in a relationship.

this bozak sound like a control freak do what makes you feel good about yourself.If he dosent like it too bad.you are you,live for yourself because if you do'nt you'll never be yourself.
