Usually the quads are too tight - heat not ice - massage therapist (it will take a few visits)

Much pain is from muscles below is an example of what may help (based on headaches).
Begin with a couple swigs of molasses or a couple of bananas daily - magnesium (which regulates many things in the body) and potassium (a needed building block for muscles).
Drink at least 1/2 gallons of water per day. Running a body low on water is like running a car low on oil is the analogy the head of neurology at UCDavis told my husband about 10 years ago.

Now to the cause - muscles - your back, neck shoulders and head have tender spots. They are knots in the fibers of the muscles called trigger points. It makes the muscles tight which makes them press on nerves and other things causing the pain.

The cure - start with a professional massage, you will also want to go back over any place you can get to 6-12 times per session up to 6 times per day rubbing (or lightly scratching on your head) every where that is tender until the knots go away. The place where the skull connects to the spine press up under the edge of the skull (to get to those muscles).

For more information read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies. It teaches what to do and where the pain comes from.

If you had a fall in an awkward position then the possibility of you seriously injuring that knee is quite big. The knee is actually the biggest and one of the most hardworking joint in the body and it needs immediate attention after any injury. If your knee has limitation of movement and pain or swelling the least dangerous thing to expect could be a simple sprain. BUT don't be complacent about it. The possibility of you having a fracture or worse, a ligament tear needs to be ruled out. You better see an orthopedic expert/doctor who is in the best position to examine and treat your injured knee. God Bless.

That's really bad, well one option you can go to the doctors but im sure they wont help! the second options is that you should just lay there and be lazy and tell your family member to take care of you cause you have a really bad pain, well that's all my options!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm without looking at your x-rays I am not sure what is wrong. If you think something is wrong then see a doc and get it checked out otherwise use ice and ibuprofen or naproxen and rest it.

You could have just sprained it or maybe hyperextended it. If the pain is severe there is chance you damaged some cartilage or maybe your acl..if the pain persists see a doctor
