a very small percentage of the population has a high metabolic rate. a very high metabolic rate would be indicative of an individual that can consume a caloric excess while still maintaining a very low level of body fat.
with out exercising the muscles drastically increasing the amount of lean body mass is just about impossible.

I doubt it. I have a high metabolism and I have touble gaining weight and I usually eaat 5 or 6 times a day.

NO, I HAVE A VERY HIGH METABOLISM AND IVE GAINED ONLY 15 POUNDS SINCE LAST YEAR, BNUT I ALSO GREW A HALF AN INCH SO IM SCRAWNY BUT STRONG. IM 6'1 160 POUNDS. BUT BECAUSE IVE BEEN WORKING OUT AND LIFTING WEIGHTS FOR 2 YEARS NOW I BENCH 225, CURL 55 FOR 4 REPS EACH HAND AND MAX DUMBELL PRESS 75S ON INCLINE AND 90S ON FLAT BENCH

Yeah, just slowly increase your diet until you notice results. Start with adding about 100 calories a day.
