Usually when I think of filet, I think of fish as you can cut two filet with one slice of a knife. I don't know about beef but if you can get filet from a cow, I'm sure you can get a filet from a human. But the thought of fileting a human is sickening... akin to canibalism.

Human Filleted

The fillet is a cut, not a part. I suppose you could get a nice fillet off the thigh, or shoulder. I'd braise it in some wine and beef stock. Yam chips would be nice with that. Maybe a merlot and sourdough. For the "gamey flavor" ya know?

Yes humans have a fillet! I was watching ready, steady, cook and the chef said that a humans fillet is located on your stomach down the bottom (below your belly button to the left or right!)

Fillet is a type of cut not a particular piece of the cow. To fillet something is to make a thin cut away from the bone.

The fillet mignon of beef comes from a long muscle that is the same as tenderloin. Because humans and cows have different muscle configurations, there is no equivalent muscle in a human. Fortunately.

Fillet is just the part of meat with no bones, so, yes, technically humans have fillet, and I don't think it's only reserved to one part on the body...it's all over.

Oh come on. Sure, if I were in Montana I'd probably go for beef and not seafood (who wants seafood that travelled that far anyway?), but you picking on what Obama ate for dinner is exactly like people making fun of Obama's jeans. There are WAY more important things going on in this world that what the president eats for dinner. Every New Years Eve my family eats ribs from Cincinnati. We live in Rhode Island. Sure, we could be eating local seafood, but we're just as entitled to eat those ribs as you are.
