Protein is the building blocks for muscle. yes peanut butter has protein but not much in comparison to chicken and fish. Also add protein shakes or bars to your diet.

If you are going that route then get 100% natural peanut butter from the health food store. It's a lot more expensive, but it's better for you. There is this baby food product that has a lot of protein and it's not that bad tasting either. It's a good snack. My 16 year old son likes them and it helped him with muscle gain. It's Gerber Chicken Sticks. They also have Turkey sticks and Meat Sticks. My son will only eat the chicken kind. It has like 11 or 12 grams of protein per serving and 1 jar is a serving. They sell them at any grocery store or at Wal-Mart. Look in the baby food aisle.

Only if you fill a huge jug with peanut butter and lift it up and down a few times a day. Peanut butter doesn't help you gain muscle, lifting weight does.

Broiled chicken breast is a much better food source for protein than peanut butter because peanut butter has a lot of fat.

It has a lot of protein in it, but it has a lot of fat in it. I would not have more than the recommended serving size (2 tablespoons) per day. Try to eat more healthy proteins, such as:
chicken, meat, beans
This will help you gain muscle

no more than any other protein food. It's a good food, but muscle comes from a good diet and moderate exercise. If yu need to gain weight, it's good for that.
