I feel a real connection for this one guy but i dont think he feels it back. i feel that he views me as a ditzy child. but im not we talk and get along. but i think he interested in someone his age hes only 2 years older than me but the difference between high school and college is great i know but. i feel we could make this work. how do i change his view on me to not be so childish?

I think this guy is not for you. If I guy really respects and likes a girl he would not treat her like a ditzy child. I would say that is rude. It sounds like you and him are a little too far apart in age to really connect romantically. You are at different stages of your lives and dating people your own age is probably best for both of you. You cannot change the way he views you no matter how hard you try because he just sees you as a "highschooler". I think for now just try to be friends and date someone who treats you better than that.

trust me you have plenty time to grow up so try not to rush things so much.
he might be scared because you are under age
just show him you are not childish and forget him
he might be trying to brush you off for another reason so you are better then that.
don't worry about him you need someone better then him anyway
go find someone who will like you and treat you better then he does

look..your young and have your ENTIRE life ahead of you...don't take this relationship stuff so seriously...you will probably date for a long time in your life...straight through your 20s even....so, if he is interested in you, he will let you know, but...don't put yourself out there to much...have respect for yourself and always remember your a lady...whatever you do, do it with dignity and grace...good luck
