JL Audio are a good company but it`s is mostly celebrity advertising that got them this name! I say you try the new alpine stuff that is the best bang for the buck you can get! Ceck it out @ www.alpine-usa.com

it depends if your looking to just pound, or have great sounding bass.

oh and by the way, Pioneer holds the SPL world record, so you might want to take that into consideration when people are telling you how great JL, Kicker and MTX are.

the best subs r mtx hands down iv owned 4500s that banged harder than a w6
i now have 2 mtx 9500 15 and i only had 1 person compete with me he had 6 8500s in a accord
