There's a woman I am friends with and I would like to evaluate her romantic interest in me and the likelihood of her wanting to date me.
Let's say I say things to her like "hi beautiful", what kind of responses would I be able to draw clues from about her interest in me?
Also, would saying things like "hi beautiful" make the relationship awkward if she was not interested in me romantically?
And what other kinds of things can I say or ask to gauge her interest? Especially online since I don't see her as often anymore, as we live further apart.

i think being a women myself that if i was not interested in you i would not like the Hi beautifull thing. but thats me. i think that talking to her and getting to know her really well and act interested in what she has to say and be there for her when she needs you and if she will realize how much she needs you and realize how great you are or your friendship will grow and might become a relationship beyond friends.

I'm sure that you can do better that 'hi beautiful' if you want to ignite a response. That's a typical greeting from a man to any attractive woman, which basically amounts to nothing special.Try saying something more personal and show your interest in her to see what her reaction is. That would make you seem genuine in her eyes and that way she's responding to you and not what you say. The point is try to connect with her on a level that is personal and sincere.

Well you really should try not to say hi beautiful because that might make her a little freaked out if she does not have an interest in you. If she likes you she will flirt with you and you will know it.

Coming from a females point of view, be upfront. There's this guy I really kinda like. I think he might like me to, but not sure. Yes, he made white chocolate covered strawberries, but what does that mean? So like I said tell her. Cause I'm not sure with this guy. I wish he would be more upfront. Good luck! Liz

Ask her out. If she says no or has an excuse then she's not interested. If she asks for a raincheck then you can give it another shot.
