The least you can do is try. Some places may be less willing to haggle with you, but most places will give you a break if you know how to deal with them. Don't let them get the upper hand by saying things like "Oh I love it!" If you have to, make like you're going to leave and if they give up then there's no bargaining that is going to happen at that place.

If you want to bargain, go to a USED furniture store. They will. Retail stores cannot. Prices usually set by manager, or owner.

Not exactly, but you can bargain with the salesperson to get the best price. They always have special discounts, finance deals, etc.
