I hear from people that its great and some people say it sucks so what should i do?
I also hear that its illegal is that true?

I Have lime wire and its a charm to me. You just need to know what to download and have an anti virus so if you do d/l something bad by mistake you can delete it. In the end its all up to you.

Sure! Ive had it for couple of years and Its great. Be sure you have good anti virus/ internet security. I can truly say that ive never downloaded a virus from Limewire. . Stay away from .exe files and any files you see that are grouped together and are the same size. Usally around 1014k. Otherwise enjoy Limewire while you can!!

i dont think that you should download limewire..
why you should:
1. its easier to download songs without the PAYMENT
2. its a harrass free music search
3. its easy to use
why you shouldnt:
1. its illegal, if your going to use the downloaded songs to make money
2. your destroying the music company, bankrupting them by not buying their original cd's
3. limewire is some sort of pirating machine
hope it helps..though for me?..dont download it..just buy the original cd's that way..

Yes you should download it because you can get any music before the cd comes out and even find old songs not in stores or on cds any more.....and it is not illegal and i know this for sure because i downloaded it and i've had it for 5 months now and no one has come after me.

I do not know that it is illegal but i have lime wire in fact i just got it a couple of hours ago and it has been great so far.

Program itself is not illegall.You shoud try it,it is OK.You shoul maybe try Torrent software also,as I find them a little bit less resource hungry on my PC (uTorrent,Azzareus....) LimeWire is simpler to use though...
