I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Get started today!

Stay away from fast food restaurants...

Cut back on sugar...

'White' wheat bread...

Cut up fruits and veggies and set on table for the taking...

Keep potato chips and such out of the house...

Cut back on juice or slowly start to water it down...

Try Xylitol sugar, it's a little more expensive but it tastes great. My kids love it...

Turn off the TV and video games, play twister...

Let your kids see you eating healthy foods, be a role model...

Don't make them finish the food on their plate because there are 'starving children' somewhere else, when they're hungry they WILL eat...

Stay away from boxed / packaged foods, way too many additives...

There are a ton of ways to help children lose weight without them even knowing that there is a problem. It just takes a little more effort on the parents part, start with a small change here and there and then keep adding the changes to the diet until it is simply routine.

If you think that you son/daughter is over weight, then you may consider on getting them into some type of exercise program. Taking walks with them, playing ball with them to get them to run, bike riding, or even enroll them in Karate, which they do some exercise, or dancing classes. Swimming is good too. Getting them into sports is also a way of getting the exercise they need.

But, it also has to do with a good healthy diet. If you want your kids to live longer, buy things that the can benefit the like: vegetables, fruits, grain cereals, (stay away from fried foods, like take out orders). Not good for you. Stay away from foods with refined sugars to which the body doesn't use. Stay away from ingredients with high fructose corn syrups, which a lot of sodas have and juices too, and hydrogenated oils. Stick with the organic foods instead. Stick with the Turbanado sugar as well.

It has to start with the parents to make that change with themselves first to get into a good healthy diet. Eat right, live longer, have fun, and everyone will be happy!

You are what you eat!

Get him/her active! Limit TV, computer, and video games and encourage fun physical activities. Also, watch what you are allowing him/her to eat. Make junk foods a treat and encourage healthy fruits and veggies instead. I also, made sure that my kids only have 3 meals a day and 3 snacks. They are not allowed to have a snack without asking me first. Make it a habit now and it will continue. I started this when my kids were 7, 4 and 3 and they are now 14, 10 and 9 and they still ask my permission before they snack.

What do you mean a small kid? A two year old, or someone small for their age? Talk to their doctor and find out what size they need to be. The doctor will tell you if they are oversize and need to lose weight
