I am recently divorced and ready to go out and have some fun. How long should I wait till I go out and be me again?

i love your question. what a proper young woman you are. i think if you are ready to go out and become the woman you lost, go for it. life does not stop for anyone and if you dont join in, it will certainly leave you behind with lots of regrets. have fun in your future and be safe.

Only go out and start dating when you are completely over with him and you are not down about the divorce. Dating should not be used to get over someone. Wait until you are completely ready to have another relationship but if you want to get out there now go somewhere that you would meet someone with a common interest.

as soon as you feel u've given urself time to get over the divorce i would say go have some fun but i would be very careful about getting seriously involved with someone for at least a year to make sure emotionally your over it and ready to go on with ur life

you should wait until you are completely over your exhubbby.
so then you still wont have those feelings for your ex when your with the new guy.
to have some fun you dont need a guy, just your girl friends -- be wild&fun like nothing ever happened.
just til your ready you should start back dating again.

Going out and being you doesn't mean you have to date. Have girls nights out, go to partys and clubs, and maybe you will meet someone. But if you don't, at least its sliding you back into the dating world. Whenever you feel comfortable to be with someone again is when you should date.

Do you have children? If you are ready go for it, but don't bring men into your life that will come and go if you do have children you need to be a good role model for them.
