No , you don't have to put peanut butter in the refrigerator. It gets hard in the refrigerator so leave it out. Now be carefull about the Peter Pan peanut butter. It had a recall for samonelle.

There are two foods that hardly ever spoil. Honey, and Peanut butter. refrigerate it and it gets hard to spread.

If you buy the natural kind you are supposed to keep it in the fridge. Just set it out for a few minutes before you use it b/c it is hard to spread when it's cold.

You do not have to and I have never done this, but I have a workmate that puts peanut butter in the fridge. I cannot stand it that way.

AND HAS TO BE KEPT COLD. PEANUT BUTTER IS TOO THICK

ANYWAYS AND THE REFRIGERATOR WOULD INTENSIFY

Well, if you buy the natural style, that you have to stir the oil back into, you're supposed to.

I don't. But then, I don't have any health reasons that would make me very vulnerable to any sort of nastiness that might come along. Use care, and good sense.

I like it creamy so in order to maintain it's creaminess I don't put it in the fridge. But make sure you screw the lid on it becasue sometimes ants can get in there and they love it.
