Honestly, my acne didn't start getting better until I went to a dermatologist. So, why wait?! I was lucky and had an excellent dermatologist. She put me on several TOPICAL medications. Including Retin-A micro, Suphera, Finacea, and Duac.
There are different types of acne. If there is a sever hormonal problem, then that will have to be treated as well. Mine was just a skin sensitivity to hormones, not a problem, and my pores were getting clogged and infected as a result.
The retin-a micro makes the skin cells turn over faster. The other topical meds are anti-bacterial agents. I don't use the duac anymore because it made my face to irritated, but I am still on the others.
My derm. also told me to moisturize! Just recently I switched to Jojoba oil (i was using dove sensitive skin moisturizer before) and it seems to be working great!
Good luck and go see a doctor!

Have you tried Clearasil? I use it and it works really well. Also, try these tips; wash your face really well long before you go to bed, or you'll be too tired and blow it off. Studies show that skin repairs itself best around 10 o'clock, so let your skin breathe easy long before. Wash it when you wake up in the morning, too. Don't wash it more that twice a day though, because over-washing can lead to excess oil production. If your acne persists, ask your parents if you can see a dermatologist, a skin doctor. He/she may be able to prescribe special medications that are stronger than non-prescription acne fighting creams and pills.

Use vaseoline intensive care with Aloe. Rub it in your skin all over then put a greater amount on specific sores. Do this about twice a day. If you can get a ALOE plant and keep it watered. This plant is a well known healing plant. If you get one Cut a small little branch off, Then use the opened cut area on your sores and they'll heal faster. but the other will heal sores also just take a little longer.

Those could be irritating it and making it worse. Try wearing no make-up and using a moisturizer daily. Also visit a dermatologist so she can prescribe the right antidote to rid of the acne. DO NOT PICK AT THEM or you'll have scarred skin.
