Bring a water bottle...relax...and have fun. Most of the effort from here on out will be in practice. The best thing you can do is try hard at practice, get plenty of sleep at night, and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. Have a great season!

Time to cut the soda out if you haven't already :-) Be really open, positive and enthusiastic about being on a team! You might want to bring a granola bar/power bar or some kind of quick snack for before practice- nothing big, just a quick pick me up. A bottle of water to keep your body hydrated is also a good idea.
Have a great season!

there's not a whole lot you can do to prepare the day before, since its so close, but make sure you're all stretched out before running, and stretch after too.

consume bananas! believe me, the potassium fairly stops cramps. additionally, you may desire to drink plenty extra water (i advise continuously have a water bottle with you, aside from 40 5 minutes earlier to the race) and ward off ingesting something like coke, snapple, something in any respect like that. Its a sort of drink that easily dehydrates you, and kills the element of ingesting water. stable success.

make sure you are hydrated before and after each race.
Sports drinks are also ok, but I prefer water.
