Can you please not say serving, because I don't know how much a serving is.

Kelsey, I'm going to have to say "servings" but I'll try to help you know how much a serving is.

First, the USDA Food Pyramid recommends 5 servings of fruits and vegetables a day.

A "serving" is:

- one medium sized fruit (say, an apple, banana, pear, etc.)
- 1/2 cup raw, cooked or frozen food (about the amount that would fit in the palm of your hand)
- 3/4 cup 100% fruit or vegetable juice
- 1/2 cup cooked, canned or frozen legumes (beans)
- 1 cup leafy greens/vegetables (about a handful)
- 1/4 cup dried fruit (again, around a small handful)

Best of luck!
