The hours of darkness is when the rest of the world is enjoying themselves drinking and going to bed with beautiful strangers. If you had ever experienced a hangover you would know the true meaning of "fear the LIGHT". That goes for the beautiful stranger as well. I hope you and your Bible will be very happy together. By the way you do know Jesus was black right?

Even though times have changed, and always will, man remains basically the same. For two thousand years man has done penance for something he never should have had to feel guilty about in the first place. We are tired of denying ourselves the pleasures of life which we deserve. Why not have a religion based on indulgence? Certainly, it is consistent with the nature of the beast. We are no longer supplicating weaklings trembling before an unmerciful "God" who cares not whether we live or die. We are self-respecting, prideful people - we are Satanists!"

I never feared the light - I embraced it - at least I tried. I tried very hard. But all those rules and regulations and punishments eventually began to hurt my brain too much - stopped me thinking properly. So I had to turn away from the rules and the regulations and punishments (and the light) just to regain my sanity.
Those who are still hypnotised by the light are insane (or delusional)

I think we all have to experience darkness in order to want the light, we have to go through hell to get to heaven. And when we embrace the light nothing will stand in your way, because you already been in the darkeness you won't go there again.

Why do you fear the darkness and embrace the light? As far as I'm concerned both sides only have half the equation.

why do so many people prefer gutter water to living water? It takes mercy and grace to change
maybe some people are afraid for the same reason when you step on a nail... you need someone to pull out the nail so it doesnt get worse... but it might hurt worse for a little while... and they aren't willing to go through the discomfort on the way to healing

John 3
19And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

[13:17] Say, 'Who is the Lord of the heavens and the earth?' Say, 'Allah.' Say, 'Have you then taken instead of Him helpers who have no power for good or harm even for themselves?' Say, 'Can the blind and the seeing be equal? Or can darkness be equal to light? Or, do they assign to Allah partners who have created the like of His creation so that the two creations appear similar to them?' Say, 'Allah alone is the Creator of all things, and He is the One, the Most supreme.'

It's our human nature that leans towards the easier way, and much of the time the easy way is the evil way. People find it much easier to do wrong because it is easier alot of the time, and when your trying to do good, it gets more difficult. As your try to do good, you get tempted more and more.
