And this explains the universe--without ANY data??

There's is nothing wrong with the Bible, but it has nothing to do with science.

By the way, God wrote the Bible too?? And "designed" DNA?? Wow.....

Yes I do absolutely so! I must, also, say though, that the Bible does not, as some feel, disagree with science.
If the Bible really is from God, we should expect it to be the most outstanding book ever written. Is it? Yes, and for many reasons. First, it is very old; you would not expect God's Word to all mankind to have been written a short time ago, would you? The writing of it began some3,500 years agoin the Hebrew Language. Then over 2.200 years ago, it began to be translated into other languages. Today almost everybody on earth can reado no other book comes close to the Bible in the number of copies are produced. Yet yet every year many millions of Bibles are printed. And over the centuries thousands of millions have been made! There is hardly a place on earth, regardless of how isolatedit may be, where you cannot find a Bible. Is this not what you would expect of a book that is really from God?
What makes this great distributionof the Bible even more outstanding is the fact that enemies have tried to destroy it. But should we not expect that a book from God would come under attack by agents of the Devil? This has happened. Bible burnings once were common, and those who were caught reading the Bible were often punished with death.
You would expect a book from God to discuss important matters that all of us should want to know."Where did life come from?" "Why are we here?" "What will the future bring?" are some of the questions it answers. And it plainly says that the information that it contins is from Jehovah God. One Bible writer said: "The Spirit of Jehovah is what spoke to me, and his word was upon my tongue,"(2Samuel23:2) Another wrote:"All scripture is inspired of God."(2Timothy3:16). Since the Bible so definately states that it is the Word of God, would it not be wise to examine it to see if it is?
'Yet how how could the Bible be from God when it was written by men?'you may ask. True, about40 men shared in writing the Bible. These men did the actual writing of the Bible with the exception of the Ten Commandments, which were written personally bu God on stone tablets by direct action of his holyspirit.(Exidus31:18) However, this does not make what they wrote any less the Word of God. The Bible explains:"Men spoke from God as they were borne along by holy spirit."(2Peter1:21) Yes just as God used his powerful holy spirit to create the heavens, the earth and all living things, he also used it to direct the writing of the Bible. This means that the Bible has only one author, Jehovah God.(2Timothy3:16)also confirms that the Bible as a whole Book is inspired of God.

To answer you, yes, I do believe the Bible is the Word of God.

As far as the Bible and science, if you would be wise enough and kind enough and care enough, you would actually read the Bible and be amazed with all the science that is contained in the Bible.

There is an organization of scientists who's reason for existing is the Bible and science.

Please, try not to offend the 90% in the USA who believe in God, we can't all be wrong can we? Are we just a bunch of morons who are not bright enough to think?

GET SERIOUS, your the one who needs to STUDY THE DATA!

There is plenty of science in the bible, for instance God made a covenant with Abraham for all his people to be circumcised because God knew that on the 8th day that a baby boy is born his blood has more Vitamin K than it ever will in his life and the blood will clot very quickly only on that day. There is much much more: http://www.clarifyingchristianity.com/science.shtml

yes, the Bible is the inspired word of God, does the Bible explain the universe without any data? tell me where you got this idea from? where did you get the idea that the Bible has nothing to do with science? if theres nothing wrong with the Bible, and ist supposed to be the word of God who created the universe, how does that not have anyting to do with science, seems kinda oxymoronic. did God write the Bible? what prrof is sufficiant to prove or disaprove its divine orgins or lack there of? Did God design Dna? if not, how does that effect the christian veiw that God is devine and cabapble of bringing about life?

The bible has nothing to do with the word of God. It is a roman creation designed to water down the teachings of Jesus and make them more palatable for the roman empire.

Don't just believe everything that anyone tells you to believe. Do some research and get the facts straight. The bible is more of an insult to God than anything else.

The Bible is the words of one God as translated and edited by humans that had as a goal based on a hierarchy of power and a congregation of supporters both verbally and monetarily..
There are other Gods and Goddesses have done similar or exactly the same.
There are some Gods and Goddesses who have not asked to be paid via prayer and sacrifice.

I understand science. Jesus Christ is science.
God is the Creator of the Universe, why wouldn't you think He could handle DNA?
God became man and died as a substitute for YOU.
With God all things are possible.
God holds the Universe together with the power of His word.
Peace out science boy :)

um, God didn't write the Bible, hon. Never claims to have done so. If you are in fact such a science whiz, how come you don't know how to research any of your questions before you make yourself look and sound inept? He had others write it by inspiring them and speaking through them. If you want science, read a science book. If you believe, then you believe. it has not much to do with science, but you can go watch any of the Moody Christian science videos, and they explain alot of the science that goes along with the Bible.

The Bible was probably written by thousands of different hands thinking that God was talking to them and told them to write this stuff down. Two thousand years later people you think God is talking to them are all in mental institutions.
