That really doesn't seem like a bad idea. It will make you less nervous. If you want a little time alone with your crush your friends will know the signal to give you two some time to talk. If your crush doesn't feel the same way, at least you have your friends there to make you feel better. Go for it.

Its a crush i think if you want it to be a group thing where two people will be comfortable than thats a great idea. But since it is the first time it should be one on one a whole group of friends will distract the two from the person they really wanted to be with that is each other. A second and third outing is great to bring friends along but the first one always has to be the two people who are starting to feel differently for each other

sometimes it makes it easier so both feel more comfortable on first dates. Get a feel for each other then after that next step should be some alome time or dark theater alone time.

I would yes if she's feeling nervous about the whole thing and that would make her feel better. But if she wants to get the guy I say she should go by herself. Good luck!!

If none of her friends are there its not a good idea unless she is a very outgoing person. first dates are good to spend knowing eachother... not all of your friends. Make it a single date not a group date
