I realized that I left my measuring spoons at home. I'm trying to make oatmeal raisin cookies. Can I use regular table spoons and tea spoons to measure? Do I need to adjust? And for the 1/2 teaspoon of salt, can I just add a pinch?

Thanks!

You use a measing spoon to bake usually??!!! lolol...seriously the only things I measure is baking soda/powder. And yeah I guess salt too. I eyeball the rest because I usually like more vanilla and less nutmeg etc.

I'm sure you'll be fine with regular spoons. Just keep in mind that you might need to add a teensy bit more as the wide regular spoons usually won't securely hold the ingredients. And I'd go with 2 good sized pinches of salt myself!

a pinch is generally 1/8 tsp or less. for a 1/2 tsp use about 3 pinches. adjustments will need to be made for the others. the sizes are not the same. the ones used at the table are a bit smaller than the actual measuring spoons
