You will be surprised how much they DON'T hurt, just stay as relaxed as you can. Talk and joke with the person who is giving the shots and tell them that you are a little bit nervous; they know how to put you at ease. It will be over in mere seconds and you will be proud of yourself!

It if it will hurt or not depends on the type of injection your getting. Usually if a shot hurts it's because the medicine burns when injected. Other than that it doesn't hurt but for a second. Just look away and take a deep breath. It will be over befor you know it.

just think of something else through out the whole process. its not bad if you keep your mind away from it. Maybe listening to an ipod would help .. i have never tried it.. It also depends on what kind of shot you are getting/ some hurt more while getting it done and some hurt and you are soar afterwards..

A drawing blood is much worse than getting a shot. It is the anticipation that is bad. Just take something to read to the doctors office. When they swab your arm, look the other way and start talking.

Look the other way & think about some thing that really cracks you up . You'll be so busy laughing in side you won't even feel it .

I'm think about spring & flowers , sick of this cold stuff .

How did the shots go ? I hope all went well .

Just take a deep breath and don't look at where they are giving you the shot. It only hurts for a second, you'll be fine!! Good luck!

I do this and it really helps:
First relax your muscles
Then, look and concetrate on a nonmoving object
Stare at it and don't think of anything else
Also sing a song in your head or think of a really happy memory
Then before you know it, it's over
Good Luck! :)

shots don't hurt, they feel like a tiny pinch-sometimes after you get certain shots you may get a headache or a low grade fever that will only last overnight. good luck =)

Listening to music....that is actually a great idea.
Shots are not all that bad,a little pinch for a few seconds and it is over and done.
Don't be afraid...and give that music a try....smile
