What goes through the mind of a person of the following standings when he asks me to go overseas to visit him/work?

(i) he already has a girlfriend;
(ii) nothing has ever happened between us, save for *accidental* hand-holdings;
(iii) we have gone out for lunches, dinner and coffee;
(iv) he has not been frank about his feelings; but he has always been a perfect gentleman with me.

Sometimes, I feel that I could go as a friend. Sometimes, I thought that by going, I am downgrading my virtues. I do not have anything more than just sightseeing in mind (I love travelling), but can I trust both of us?

If he has a girlfriend and is asking you out you don't you think he will cheat on you with someone too?..and why would you mess with another womans man anyway?

I would warn you to guard your heart. If he already has a girlfriend why is he inviting you to travel in a plane over the sea to see him? Is his girlfriend going to be there? I know that she doesn't know about your coming to visit him. Although he plays the role of a gentleman I'd watch him. I say this because it sounds as though he wants to have a choice of women. The fact remains that you are a woman and he is a man...opposite sexes do attract. So if you're not ready for more than you bargained than be wise and don't take it to an intimate level. Only you and him can answer the question whether you can trust each other.
