It depends on how disciplined you are and what you're willing to do. If you wanna get serious (and you should to get an A!):
Turn off the computer, disconnect the electrical cord, and ask someone to hold onto it until after your test. (did you say 'ouch'? the internet will be there after your exam)
Do the same with the cable cord to the television! (the tv will be there after your exam)
Turn off the cell phone.
Ginko bilboa helps promote mental focus. I just started taking some pills I got at wal-mart and it really does help.
Studying can make one sleepy so I just started drinking the 5-hour energy drink and it really really really does work! (Lemon-lime is the best flavor, the berry flavor says it's improved but if that's true...I don't want to try the old flavor!)
Limit your study-breaks to 10-15 minutes (if you can handle it, use your computer and/or watch tv...just limit it to 10-15 minutes)
Writing down things you think/know will be on the test help. Also write down things you need to go over.
Repeat the stuff to yourself or teach it to someone else.
Back to studying for me!

Just do kapalbharti or anulom vilom (these are asans, for more information contact ram dev baba or any other yoga teacher) and do it the time you asked this question or if you feel too bored with that, follow the idea below :-
Drill a hole in the wall. And before studying, concentrate on that for at least 5 minutes. I'm sure, you will succeed.
And the third method is:
Get up at 4am in the morning and study for three hours. And from 7 to 10 complete your sleep (you can sleep more). When you get up then, study for half an hour or so and then from 12 AZAADI!! I follow this in the weekends.

Sleep in time and have at least 4/5 hours sound sleep.
While starting studies do some easy pranayams for 5/6 minutes and start concentrating your mund by closing your both the eyes.

Well, the first thing is to stop thinking about it and start studying. The best and most reliable place to get some hard studying done is in the library. If you go to school or a university, you should always study for exams at the school library. Find a quiet floor, a sunny spot, and begin studying. You won't even know how slow the time goes by and the amount of work that you get done.

Hi
While it is difficult to concentrate, it is not impossible at all. The first thing you do is set a goal for yourself. Divide it in to short term and long term goals. Short term goal can be "prepare self for the examinations" - write it down in large font on a paper and stick it on the wall where you can see it. Other simple method is look at the flame of a burning candle continuously for 30 seconds and increase the span to up to 300 seconds. Yoga, especially deep breathing and pranayaam will help you concentrate as well.
Thanks
Shashank
